confirmation

Your China hotel confirmation email is more than a receipt — it proves your room, rate, and cancellation terms, and for a foreign guest it should confirm the property will register your passport. Read it before you fly, because the details inside decide what happens at the desk.

A short, clear booking email before you pay is the best way for a foreign passport holder to avoid a refused check-in in China. A written confirmation that they accept your nationality, room, and dates turns a risky booking into a documented agreement you can show at the desk.
